Data Controller and Collected Information

Welcome to watermark-ai.eu. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring your data is handled in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable laws. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, process, and protect your information when you use our AI-powered watermark generation service.

The Data Controller responsible for your personal data is Watermark AI. If you have any questions, you can contact us at watermarkaieu@gmail.com.

AI Processing and Data Usage

Our service uses artificial intelligence to generate and apply watermarks via Google LLC (Google AI Studio API), which acts as our third-party technology provider.

  • Please be aware: To provide this tool, we currently utilize the free tier of Google’s API. According to Google’s Terms of Service, data processed through this tier (including the images you upload) may be used by Google to train, improve, or develop their artificial intelligence models and may be subject to review by their team to improve product quality.
  • Disclaimer: Because of this, we strongly advise against uploading highly sensitive, confidential, or private documents (such as IDs, financial records, or intimate photos) to our platform.
  • We temporarily hold your images on our servers only to facilitate the generation process and delete them within [wpisz czas, np. 1 hour], but we do not control Google’s internal data retention policies once the image is sent via their API.

Data Retention and Image Storage

We do not store your images permanently. Uploaded files and the generated watermarked results are kept in temporary server memory only for the duration of the processing and are automatically deleted within.

Your GDPR Rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you retain full control over your personal data. You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data and files we hold about you.
  • Request the correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Request the complete erasure of your data (the right to be forgotten).
  • Object to or restrict specific types of data processing.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our website uses minimal cookies to function properly.

  • Essential Cookies: Required for the basic functioning of the website (e.g., session management).
